Tinker is a Blue and White son of Sh Ch Tonkory Palmerston at Fayken, bred by Maggie Peacock. His dam is Passim Blue Lace.

On the 11th April 2004 Tinker won the Dog CC and Best in Show at the 25th Anniversary Southern Border Collie Club Championship Show. He then proceeded to drop his coat so was only shown on three more occasions in 2004, each time winning his class. In 2005 Tinker has returned to the show ring, winning the Reserve CC at Working & Pastoral Breeds of Wales and then the CC & BOB at Birmingham National Championship Show and the Reserve CC at Leeds Championship Show in 2005. In 2006 Tinker returned to the ring and won his 3rd CC and BOB at Birmingham National and then followed this with a Reserve CC at Bath.
