Visitors:
Border Collies will often visit/stay with me, either to be trained/campaigned in the UK or to be mated. On this page you will find those currently or who have been at residence.:
Sh Ch Altricia Fancy Free at Tudorhurst
Gypsy has been campaigned to her title in the UK during 2008. She is a daughter of Taz and is currently the top Border Collie Bitch in the BCCofGB top dogs competition.
April Swan Of Bron Yr Aur
Swan is a visitor from Hungary and another Taz daughter. She has been staying so that she might compete at a number of championship shows and then return to Hungary in whelp. Unfortunately, soon after arrival Swan decided to drop her coat and durring her three month stay has only attended a single championship show where she won the Open Bitch class and gained the Reserve CC. Swan has now been mated to Sh Ch Arnpriors BluTaz at Fayken and will return to Hungary in November hopefully to whelp puppies in December 2008..
Noteable dogs & bitches:
Sh Ch Beagold Mr Lennox
I recall seeing Lennox as a baby puppy whilst visiting Felix & Joyce Cosme's famous Beagold kennels. He stood out and it was no surprise for me to see him become the youngest male Border Collie champion in the UK, a record which remains today. He captivated your eye both standing and on the move and I believe it was a huge loss to the breed in the UK when at an early age he was exported to become a champion in America and in mainland Europe. Taz is a son of Mr Lennox.
Sh Ch Clanabby Silver Kiwi at Beagold
Kiwi achieved significant success in the show ring and was the male Border Collie breed record holder until his great grandson Taz claimed the title.
Taz children and grandchildren:
Janbell Sweet Memory
Daughter of Taz bred by Janet Bell and awarded the 2007 BCCofGB top brood bitch. Sophie is the dam of Sh Ch Janbell Jamieson (8 CC's to-date)
